4K [RE]solution: A Service Project for the Aetas of Sitio Haduan
4K [RE]solution: Kaalaman (Knowledge), Kalusugan (Health), Kalikasan (Environment) Tungo sa Kapayapaan (Peace) is a multi-project initiative of the Lualu Rover Circle 9 for around 157 Aeta families of Sitio Haduan, Mabalacat City, Pampanga from July 18 to August 27, 2022. The project aims to improve the quality of living of the Aetas and give them, especially the young Aetas, opportunities to learn and develop life skills through education, health, and environment programs and services.
The project consists of 10 mini-projects under 3 service areas (which leads to a fourth, Peace & Development):
- Education & Skills for Life: Brigada Eskwela (cleaning and repairing of the facilities), Brigada Pagbasa (a literacy teaching and school essential donation), Brigada Sining (arts teaching), and Brigada Scouting (Scouting teaching).
- Health & Wellbeing: Tulong Palalusugan (health kit donation), Tulong Lakbay (footwear donation), Tulong Laro, (sports teaching), and Tulong Saplot (cloth donation).
- Environment & Sustainability: Eco-Linis (series of clean-up drives) and Eco-Tanim (tree planting).
The project helps improve the quality of living of Aetas through resourcing and empowerment. Furthermore, it (1) helps improve the quality education of students in terms of basic literacy, arts education, and life skills from Scouting, (2) promotes a healthy and active lifestyle, and (3) helps develop a sustainable community.
