Tulong Laro: Sports & Games for Young Aetas

Tulong Laro, one of the ten mini-services of 4K [RE]solution, is a sports teaching service that aims to promote active and healthy lifestyle through teaching of sports and Filipino games to young Aetas. It included giving of snacks like sandwiches to assist in their proper nutrition.

07/22/2022: To end the week, the Rover Scouts and Service Volunteers prepared different relay games for the young Aetas. The young Aetas had fun playing while learning the value of sportsmanship. After the games, the Rover Scouts gave the young Aetas sandwiches to regain their energies and prizes for all who participated.

07/29/2022: To end the week full of learning, the Rover Scouts and Service Volunteers prepared another set of fun games. The young Aetas participated and enjoyed the time playing while learning the value of fairness. Sandwiches were served to reenergize the young Aetas, and prizes were given to all who participated.

08/05/2022: Incorporating Filipino culture in the Tulong Laro, the Rover Scouts and Service Volunteers prepared a game called Tumbang Preso—a Filipino game where the offense gets to shoot the can from their base with a slipper while the defense guards the can and the thrown slippers. The defense gets a chance to chase the offense if the offense tries to retrieve his/her slipper while the can is still in place. Everyone enjoyed playing the game and the snacks afterward.

08/19/2022: To end the month of fun learning, the Rover Scouts facilitated another fun game, the sack race. The Rover Scouts made different variations of the game that the young Aetas enjoyed while learning the value of teamwork. Snacks were served afterward, and prizes were given to all those who participated.
