Kisii University Flamingo Rover Scouts took part in this year's chief commissioner's challenge in order to attain their highest badge in scouting ; Chief Scout Award(CSA). The project took us six days, where we did offer service in various communities in some counties in Kenya namely; Kisii, Migori, Homabay, Kisumu, Siaya and lastly Bungoma. The activities we did were as follows; ~ Tree planting, slashing and weeding ~ Gabion construction ~ Trench making ~ Filling up potholes in feeder roads ~ Painting of schools pathway and assembly grounds ~ Drainage ~ Creating awareness and Sensitization on risks and ways of fighting and reducing risks of covid-19. ~ Offering peer education and teaching the young in urban areas on early marriage, teenage pregnancy, early school drop out, stress and depression which later leads to committing suicide.
