PEACE THROUGH CULTURE EXCHANGE
900 Pacific Island Primary School Teachers, High School Teachers, Scout Leaders and Girl Guide Leaders went to the City of Fukuoka, Japan to attend "Peace Through Culture Exchange" project.
We managed to attend the Shounai Junior Secondary School and exchange culture with 5000 students and teachers. We went to the, Fukuoka JICA Center where we managed to exchange culture with 15000 residents by performing cultural arts in forms of dance, displaying arts, music and songs.
We also went to the Hakata Station Center where we presented our culture to the locals. We went to the kindergartens, the High Schools and the Tertiary Institute in Fukuoka City.
We went to the Fukuoka Museum where we had the opportunity to exchange culture with the100 lecturers, students and scientists who managed to share a lot with the leaders.
The project was also presented to the 1500 people of Lomolomo Public School Community as well as the2000 people of Lomolomo Village Community in Fiji.
