NATIONAL LEVEL YOUTH FORUM , JAGATPURA , JAIPUR (RAJASTHAN)

The National Youth Forum provides an opportunity for young members of Scouting & Guiding to discuss and express their views on different issues. Through preparing inputs and making recommendations to the National Council and participants will develop the skills necessary to take part in decision-making processes. The National Youth Forum is considered as an interim measure to improve youth involvement in decision-making at National level. National Youth Forum was organized at Jagatpura ,Jaipur, Rajasthan from 12-16 sep. 2018. 245 Rovers and Rangera from 23 States of bharat Scout And Guide participated. The event was hosted by Rajasthan state, BSG with the support of The National Headquarters,New Delhi under the leadership of Shri Amar B. Chettri, Deputy Director (B. P.). Youth Forum provides a platform to young people to channelize their innovative ideas that addresses issues of national and international importance. Mr. Syd Castillo Director Educational method, APR, WOSM and Mr. Tan sijie of Singapore Scout association where the part of that event. Forum begun introducing MOP in seven different stations with seventeen SDG's(Sustainable Development Goals), which was led by Mr. Madhusudhan Avala followed by input session in WSEP(World Scout Environment Programme). The 17 sustainable development goals (SDG's) to transform our world: GOAL 1: No Poverty GOAL 2: Zero Hunger GOAL 3: Good Health and Well-being GOAL 4: Quality Education GOAL 5: Gender Equality GOAL 6: Clean Water and Sanitation GOAL 7: Affordable and Clean Energy GOAL 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth GOAL 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure GOAL 10: Reduced Inequality GOAL 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities GOAL 12: Responsible Consumption and Production GOAL 13: Climate Action GOAL 14: Life Below Water GOAL 15: Life on Land GOAL 16: Peace and Justice Strong Institutions GOAL 17: Partnerships to achieve the Goal
