On the 10th anniversary of Messengers of Peace, Scouts of Africa and APR Headquarters took the initiative to arrange a educative session as a part of JOTA-JOTI 2020. I was fornutate enough to be a host for this event. Our special guest was Jacob Murray from the World Scout Bureau Office. Me and my cohost, Kelvin Mirie conducted the whole session. It consisted of a form of interview of our guest on how the MoP programme has changed over the course of 10 years and all the achievements that we have had. It was held over zoom webinar and showed live on Facebook. There was also a Q/A session where Jacob answered some of the questions of the participants. Overall it was a session to teach more people about the MoP programme and inspire them to go into their communities and continue with their amazing community development work.The planning of the program began from 13th and ended with the actual session on 16th. We had regular meetings everyday to discuss how the session would go and to have practice runs.
