Day-1 (7th June) :- Today, 7th June 2021 was the first day of ''I am a Global Citizen" a series of webinars on sustainable developement. Today firstly, the inaugration ceremony of even occurred, Sir Satyajith Chatarjee hosted the webinar and today's guest speaker was Sir Mdhusudhan Awala. After the inauguration, our chief guests of that day Dr. Ranoj Pegu, honourable Education Minister of government of Assam inspired us with his motivating words, he also told us that he was also a former scout in his time. He made us aware of the cultures and rituals of Assam. His father's job was a transferable job because of which he had to suffer during his childhood. His session was really very helpful for us. After the chief guest's session, The State Secretary of Assam State, Analendra Sharma Sir, Amar Chettri Sir, and many more reputed dignitaries address us. After that Sir Madhusudan Ambala took a session on sustainability. Madhusudan sir explained about sustainable goals and what are scouts going to create sustainable world by 2030? What is scouts for SDG's? Why scouts for SDG's? He also told us that there's no planet B (option B). We have to make this planet better only, and we scouts and guides should take a step forward to help in this initiative. We all should follow all the 17 SDG goals to make this world a better world. After the session Ma'am Dakshana Pawaskar conveyed the vote of thanks and then the webinar ended. #IAMAGLOBALCITIZEN #BSG4SDG
