The Department of Environment and Natural Resources conducted an Environmental Youth Camp last August 15-17, 2015 at Sampaloc Elementary School, Tanay, Rizal. University of Rizal System High School Department, Cuyambay National High School, Sampaloc National High School and Daraitan National High School were the participating School of the said camp. The activities were Tree Planting, Environmental On the Spot Poster Making Contest, Environmental Speech Choir Contest, Geo Henyo Game, Biodiversity Game-Find your Mate, Lectures on Waste Segregation, Geology and Planning for their Calendar of Activity for School Year 2014-2015. The theme of camp is the UNEP THEME – RAISE YOUR VOICE, NOT THE SEA LEVEL. Dir. William Ragos, Ms. Magnolia Danganan, Engr. Carlos Enofre and Tanay Mayor Rafael Tanjuatco were the speakers of the camp. The DENR Youth Desk assisted the camp participants.
