Design Session for the MICLEAN - 512 Robot
Driven by my commitment to innovation and sustainability, I aim to develop the MICLEAN - 512 robot to address environmental issues in waste management. In this session, I designed a robot that operates automatically, can be controlled via a phone, and is water-resistant. This project reflects my dedication to using technology for the greater good, particularly in urban cleanliness, and I hope it raises awareness of environmental cleanliness, positioning me for next year's MoP Hero Award.
The design session is the second phase after the research conducted in a broader initiative, which includes research, design, socialization, field testing, and implementation of the automated waste collection robot. In this session, I designed a robot capable of working at the drainage outlets, featuring waterproof characteristics, the ability to collect plastic waste (organic, inorganic, and residue) automatically, and can be deactivated via a smartphone or remote control.
Through this project, I learned about the significant environmental impact of waste management and the crucial role of community involvement. Observing drainage systems highlighted the importance of clean waterways. In this session, I aim to introduce automated or robotic control systems to the public, especially to Scout children, as it allows us to perform tasks in a controlled and efficient manner, promoting sustainable practices.
