The 5th National Sea Scouts Marine Education Camp was held at Perhentian Islands, Terengganu, Malaysia from 22 April to 24th April 2016. A total of 99 Sea Scouts from across the country attended the camp. The camp was organised by the National Sea Scouts Secretariat and I was appointed as the Head of First Aid & Life Saver for the camp. Over the 3 days, the participants were exposed to the importance of marine life, functions of the Malaysia Marine Park Department, snorkeling, basic scuba diving, assessing the water quality and beach clean-up at the nearby village. This is the fifth time the camp was organised by the National Sea Scouts Secretariat in cooperation with the Malaysia Marine Park Department.
