The 17th National Jamboree of the Bharat Scouts and Guides was held on and from 29th December 2016 to 4th January 2017 at Mysore, Karnataka. The Jamboree was officially inaugurated by the then President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Honorable President graced the occasion and blessed the participants. The Jamboree witnessed 27000 participants from all the 29 Indian States and the SAARC countries which became a record. The jamboree was full of challenging adventure activities, fun based activities, Bharat Darshan, Paegant Show, Folk Dance, March Past , various Scouting competitions on Scouting Knowledge, first aid, mapping, pioneering, etc.
