I was amongst the selected delegates from India who were to attend the virtual Tide Turner Challenge African Summit on 16th of October 2020. Ms. Grace Kamau hosted the program very well. Ms. Joyce Msuya (Deputy Executive Director, UNEP) motivated us by her speech. Mr. Sam Barratte (Chief of the Youth, Education and Advocacy Unit, UNEP) directed to stick to three points. These were: 1. Have a powerful belief in yourself. 2. Get people around you to know the change you are trying to bring. 3. Stick with the cause and the change you can bring. "It's possible" were the words said by Mr. Peter Mol including "Don't Wait, Don't Wait for support just start doing it to change". He said that we should get involved. To change or to hide are the only two options we have to do. World needs new ideas, so no need to copy, be yourself. Be you but multiply and become the cause of change. Paul Bigmore from WAGGGS shared views for SDGs. Mr. Ashish Advani (CEO, Junior Achievement) attracted our attention towards the need of the hour to follow SDGs. The main event which attracted my attention was the presentation by Ms. Ellyanne Wanjiku. The confidence in her shows how dedicatedly she has worked advocating 'No to single use plastic'. Ultimately, I came to know that "Do Simple Actions, Walk With Our Generation to Future Generation"
