The host for the fourth day of the series of Webinars on SDGs are Ms. Dhruvi Patel and Mr. Saranraj. The gathering was welcomed by Mr. Smriti Saurabh Ray sir, Assistant Director, Northern Region. Following him the Chief Guest of the session Ms. Amelia Swer mam, International Commissioner (Guide), State Secretary of Meghalaya who is there in BSG from her childhood addressed the gathering by her words. The Guest Speaker of the session is Ms. Shweta Shinde mam, Project Assistant, Plastic Waste Recycling Management UNDP, India for State of Goa. She explained about the SDGs Agenda 2030. She also categorised the 17 goals of SDG into four categories such as Social, Economic, Environmental and Fostering Peace and Partnerships. She also explained about MDGs, Major ministries involved in SDGs implementation, UN agencies working in India, National Strategy for achieving SDGs. The participants learnt many things from her session which was really fruitful. Another guest speaker of the session is Prof. Anirudha Deshpande sir , Assistant Professor of TPCTs College of Engineering, Osmanabad, Maharashtra. He is also an Institute Co-ordinator for GOIT, Innovation given Programme for implementing SDGs in society. He shared his points on Role of young people in Sustainable Environment and Quality Education. He also asked the participants to provide ideas to improve three things How to win Covid, Laptop and Municipality Dustbin. Following the speaker’s session, Mr. Satyajit Chaterjee conducted Slido online quiz by appreciating the winner of the third day webinar Mr. Sreejith Sreenath, Chennai Corporation District, Tamilnadu. Then Ms. M S Sharmin Banu started projecting her project video of doing service to the society under the various SDGs. They are also planning to implement their service in Agriculture after the lockdown. Following her, Ms. Priyanka Prajapat shared her points about Young Warrior Movement against Covid- 19. She has explained about how to join in Young Warrior movement and how to enroll, how to work in detailed manner. As a last part of the session, the vote of thanks was given by Mr. Analendra Sarma sir, Assistant Director, North East Region, BSG.
