The Scout Association of Macedonia, in November and December 2021 implemented a program regarding the Sustainable Development Goals, in which an online program booklet was created for the purpose and needs of the scout units, as well as weekly educational activities and workshops for the younger scouts. During these months, the Macedonian scouts learnt about the purpose of the goals, identified and connected them with problems in the local community and worked on resolving them by initiatives and action. The 500 participating scouts created solutions for resolving the gender inequity, worked on their mental health by creating stress buckets, learnt about the (in)availability of clean water throughout the world, exercised using clean energy and initiated campaigns for climate change. This is only a small portion of the workshops implemented, which at the end of the day helped the scouts learn about initiation and action, motivated them to start living more consciously and taught them to have regards and respect for the humans and all forms of life.
