I'm a global citizen, a series of webinars on SDGs Day 3

The webinar started with General salute and prayer song. Ms. MN Machamma, delivered welcome address. The  Mr. JC Mohanty, International Commissioner (s) explained about theme of the webinar and delivered his points on environmental conditions, pollution and world development report. He also said about what young people do for implementation of SDGs & clarity and knowledge on SDGs, Obstences to work on several goals, anti poverty programme etc,.. He finished his speech by saying that scouts and guides are ideals of our society. 

Guest speaker Ms. Neha Shaw, Director & CEO- Dame & Earl LLP, Co Founder, Board of Directors explained about the role of young people in implementation of SDGs. She shortly explained about 17 SDGs and she said that young people are critical thinkers, change makers, innovators and leaders. 

She also explained about prioritizing SDGs and how can we contribute to SDGs & How can we be a part of the global goals. 

3 steps for problem solving

  • Implement

Then she answered the questions of the participants. Then we all attended the slido quiz on SDGs by Mr. Satyajit Chaterje. 

Ms. Dimpy Talukdar, Ranger, Shared her experience on a programme named "Touch Of Humanity" Done by their team and she said obut the vision and mission of the proggrame. 

Mr. Pradeep Kr Pradan, Odisha, Shared his experience of a project by their unit on community development. Ms. Himashi, U-Reporter, explained that what is U-Report and how does it works, where all does U-Report works and then it is active in 68 countries around the world and benifits 11 million users and explained about the benifits of U-Report and how to register as U-Reporter. 

Finally the webinar came to end with the Vote of thanks by Mr. Arup Sarkar, Dy. Director, Boy Programme.
