F eve days before 17 scouts of Kg / Hettimulla Nawa knitu Vduhala at the city of Kegalle in Sri Lanka won the District Commissioner's Cord.Former district commissioner Mr. E.S.K Premarathna was the chief guest of the occasion and the vice principal Mr.Anura Shantha and the scout leader of Kg/ Alapalawala Vidyalaya Mr.Iroshan Rajapaksha also participated to this grate event. Simultaneously, according to the guidance of the principal Mr.Panduka Bandara and the scouting teacher Mrs.Sarwodi Rathnasuriya, the D.C Cord winners outstretched their helping hands to build a house for a poor sister in the school by giving their precious labor.And also they were generous enough to plant fruits & vegetable in their garden and also gave school items ,raw food and dresses to her and the family to celebrate the world peace day.
