Day 5 of "I am Global Citizen" - A series of Webinar on SDGs

The Day 5 of the Webinar “I am a Global Citizen” began with equal enthusiasm from the team and participants alike, with Ms. Priyanka Prajapat and Mr. Shubam Singh taking over the role of hosts for the day. The webinar began with words of welcome from Ms. Kumudmehra –ADSR. Dr. Vijayalakshi, addressed all the participants on the objective to creating awareness and for the scouts and guides to convincing people to undertake measures towards attaining SDGs.

The speaker for day was Mr. Jeevan Babu, IAS Officer and SCC Kerala State. His words motivated all the participants to understand the strength they possess, as an individual and as a team, to achieving SDGs. He also shared glimpses into the SDI Composite Index and rankings. It was overall an enriching and interactive sessions with real life examples.

The most exciting part of the event, the quiz, was conducted by Mr. Kekhrieselhou. Over 400 participants took part in the quiz. For the experience sharing session, Ms. Monalisa Das and Mr. Shubam Singh shared about their projects on SDG 4 and SDG 6 respectively. It was inspiring to see the works undertaken by our fellow scouts and guides in their own communities.

The organising team conducted a session on informing the participants about the feedback form for the SDG Webinar to gain their opinions on the event. The end of the webinar was marked with the Vote of Thanks from Mr. Bablu Goswami – ADER and his words of gratitude.
