Day 2 of "I am a Global Citizen" - A Series of Webinar on SDGs

The Day 2 of the Webinar series continued with the same rigour as that of the previous day. The hosts for the day were Mr. Mohammed Abrar and Ms. Shimtilang. Ms. Darshana Pawashkar, JD(G) presented the welcome address and opened the webinar for the day. The Chief Guest Dr. Pankaj Mittal addressed the gathering and stressed on the importance of youth in the movement.

The exciting part of Day 2 of the webinar was the presence of speakers from WAGGGS. Ms. Rojo Andriamahery, Ms. Germaine Umuraza, Ms. Nikita Miller and Ms. Ankita Pandey were the guest speakers from WAGGGS. They presented on the WAGGGS initiatives and their objectives and contribution to achieving the SDGs 2030. The session also included the speakers sharing their experiences and impacts of their work towards SDGs.

After another round of quiz conducted by Mr. Satyajit Chatterjee, Mr. Imlisunep and Ms. Barsha Rani Maharana shared glimpses into their work in their regions – North East and Orissa respectively. It was inspiring to see what and how fellow scouts and guides were undertaking projects for the attaining the targets of the SDGs.
