Youth Program Review

It is an invitation for each National Scout Organization to have a continuous approach and motivation to improve its Educational Proposal, in response to the needs and aspirations of young people and the challenges of society. Through a process of steps (GPS by WOSM) that will lead us to the revision and redesign of the Youth Program.
The systematic evaluation will provide S.H.P. with the understanding and diagnosis of the situation of the Youth Program, providing reliable and valid data, which will give an accurate picture. 1. Monitoring by the competent Adult Leaders responsible for the Youth Program in each Regional Committee. 2. Mapping at distinct times and regular intervals by the National Committee of S.H.P. with evaluation forms for the impact and response of the new Youth Program.
The revision of the Youth Program involves all young members and adult leaders of S.H.P. Gradually the changes to the Program will be implemented with the aim of having a positive impact on the Scout Sections, young people and Adult Leaders. Nowadays the members of S.H.P. are about 12,000 young people, 3,000 Adult Leaders and 2,000 adults in other roles (parents and support committees).
Our goal is for all our Adult Leaders to learn to operate in changing environments and not hesitate in the face of change. It is also important to create a generation of new Leaders who will monitor, evaluate and improve the Youth Program, based on the needs of each era.
