A very special 4D3N hike for the future King Scout candidates and current Senior Scouts completing they 5 Senior badges. It was an experience to remember and cherish for them as they started at Shah Alam Botanical Park and ended at Sri KL International School. Their perseverance helped all of them pull through when all goes bad resulting in 0 pull outs and quitters. As the hike treasurer and first day Duty Leader, it was a great experience for for us to continuously help the Scouts improve and push themselves to achieve the very best. From patrolling around their hike route to being stationed at checkpoints, I have learnt more from the Scout than they probably would have learnt from me. Being at stations and patrolling, whenever there is a chance to push them or give them advice before moving on helped keep them confident that their leaders in the nearby areas to keep them safe. As for providing services for the full hike, it was a tiring and sleepless experience for us as we have to remain vigilant to make sure they start and end safely, every day to complete the necessary distance. Thank you Scouts for your help in teaching me as well.
