Nadi Primary School marked the World Mother Tongue Day first time in history. There was participation from whole school with the songs, drama, ryhmes and poems, speeches and oratory. We shared on how important it is to maintain our mother tongue as it is the most basic skill learnt by a child. It needs to be treasured. There fisplay of posters and other works of students. It brings about peace as Fiji is a multicultural country and how we all tend to learn each others mother tongue. Especially in social gathering and TV peogrammes.
