Just started the AIDS awareness rally

WORLD AIDS AWARENESS DAY AWARENESS RALLY IN LOCO

My Scout troop, school teachers, and some highly educated people of the community have motivated me and my team to take up such a challenging project in front of a large community of those people who are not aware of this problem which is spreading with a good speed in this whole world with a rate of more than 1 million cases per year(India).

The project has been executed in the Locality of Railway Loco Colony, Purba Barddhaman. As per the medical science says that there is no cure exists for HIV(Human Immunodeficiency Virus) or most commonly called as AIDS(Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome) but strict adherence to antiretroviral regimens (ARVs) can dramatically slow the disease's progress as well as prevent the secondary infections and other complications. We have organised a rally to spread this information to the people.

Now the people after reading the leaflets given by our members told us that they already have some knowledge about this disease even many of them said that they were hearing this name for the first time .They said now they will give this information to their friends, and families. The biggest impact of this project was the people also started campaigns to learn the different ways recognized by WHO,UNICEF organisations for the best cure against this disease. They appreciated our initiative.

After completing the execution of this project in the form of ''AWARENESS RALLY'' on ''WORLD AIDS DAY''i.e.,1st December.During the project we also learned more thing about this disease. We also met a few people there who have lost some of their family members due to this disease from the lack of required treatment. And many of them were still fighting with that disease in hospitals. They motivated us to continue this great rally every year.We felt very lucky that we were doing this project.
