As a part of scouting program we the scout members went on hike in nearby village named Goling. The main aim of the hiking was to create awareness on the importance of waste management and the collaboration program with the Nachung scouts of Goling Primary School. Upon reaching our destination we were received by Nachung scouts of Goling Primary School and started our awareness program to the peoples at Goling Lhakhang. The village head (Tshogpa) thanked the scouts for imparting informative information to the villagers and they promised to follow waste management practices and also to advocate to others.
