"Volunteer service to community"⚜️
As we know scouts provides service through volunteerism and moreover, we the Bhutanese scouts also follow the foot steps of other volunteer scouts of the world who really dedicated their self in doing volunteer work leaving their individuals comfort behind.
Every year in the October month our district celebrates the event called "Moelam Chenmo" where 1000 of devotees come to attend this event for 5 to 6 days and this year organizers have asked help from the scouts and we happily volunteer for the auspicious work for 5 days from 20th October till 24th October. During this event, 80 scouts have decided and provided our service.
Around 1000 of people have been benefited from the project and the impact of this project was that our peoples have understood the importance of scouts and their service to community and what we scouts have achieved is trust and their appreciations for our volunteer work....
During this project what new lessons and learning we have got to learn is all about team work and understand the importance of being volunteer and learnt new skills like chopping the vegetables and cooking.
