ESPAÑOL El vidrio a pesar de no ser uno de los principales residuos contaminantes del planeta, si es uno de los que más espacio en áreas verdes ocupa, la comunidad de mi localidad comenzó a tener problemas de manejo de vidrio, por lo que este material se hacia cada vez mas presente en las calles de mi ciudad. Vitreus es un proyecto que busca crear una conciencia positiva en pro del desarrollo de un medio ambiente limpio, donde los productos hechos con vidrio no sean la decoración de las calles de mi ciudad, que las buenas acciones como la separación de basura, el réuso de materiales y el correcto manejo de residuos en negocios y hogares, sea el factor que destaque en mi comunidad inmediata. Con el apoyo de mi grupo scout, juntos logramos concientizar a nuestras comunidades, familias y amigos durante un periodo de 3 meses donde ellos comenzaron a aprender diversas técnicas para manejar este residuo; Vitreus busca lograr el que todos y cada uno de los habitantes de mi ciudad conozcan al menos una forma de manejar el vidrio y como limpiar su entorno. ENGLISH The glass despite not being one of the main polluting residues of the planet, if it is one of the ones that occupies more space in green areas, the community of my locality began to have glass handling problems, so this material was more and more present in the streets of my city. Vitreus is a project that seeks to create a positive conscience in favor of the development of a clean environment, where products made with glass are not the decoration of the streets of my city, that good actions such as the separation of garbage, the reuse of materials and the proper management of waste in businesses and homes, be the factor that stands out in my immediate community. With the support of my scout group, together we managed to raise awareness in our communities, families and friends during a period of 3 months where they began to learn different techniques to manage this waste; Vitreus seeks to achieve that each and every one of the inhabitants of my city know at least one way to handle glass and how to clean their environment.
