Nawalapitiya Scout District had organized a Vap poyaday religious programme as the 4th Buddhist activity. Under this District Scouts participated the religious activity in Pusulpitiya Rajamaha Viharaya. There it was having a procession, sermon and Dalada Puja. There all the scouts participated with thier cultural dress and there were about 60 scouts from three schools. Farmer District commissioner, Asst. District commissioners and parents. It was expected to teach the Scouts about the cultural work and relious attitude. The aim was successfully reached at the end of the programme. The project was organized with the guidence of the District leaders by Asst. District Commissiomner (Girls Section) Ms.S. Sandya Kumari. All the Scouts were taught the religious values. The programme was a successful programme.
