The Tree planting activitty was initiated by the Keepers Club International ( Cagayan De Oro, Iligan City and Bukidnon) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources -Region 10 and duly supported by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City with the Local Government Unit, Philippine Army 4ID. We were able to plant 250 seedlings. We assembled at 7am at the provincial capitol and were ferried to the planting site in Malasag Eco-garden, Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental within the DENR reservation area by military trucks.  Scouts and Scouters from Pedro Oly Roa National High School, Lourdes College High School and Golden Heritage Polytechnic College High School came to Volunteer their time and hope to help protect the environment.
