Ticket to Life India

The Ticket to Life project in India is contextually relevant because it addresses the needs of young people who face numerous challenges, such as poverty, lack of access to education, and limited opportunities for personal growth. The project aims to equip young people with the necessary scouting knowledge/life skills to overcome these challenges. Ticket to Life project, BSG has developed a comprehensive training program as per APRO - progressive training for the youth on weekly basis.
By providing young people with the education, scouting skills and knowledge, the project aims to empower them to overcome various challenges and pursue their goals and aspirations. List of Project Objectives To run 8 Scout Troops under TTL project for next 12 months Conduct 288 Troop meetings in 8 TTL units in 12 months Capacity Building of 8 Unit Leaders by March 2024
All young people and their families are living below the poverty line. The geographical challenges are part of their lives who family subsist primarily on agriculture, fishing and collecting forest products or beggar, rikshaw puller, hawkers etc with the support of this project young people and the families are getting benefited with the education to have a progress in their daily life.
