Ticket to Life Africa 2025
Scouting has the power to bring hope, structure, and purpose. We wanted to take Scouting into shelters, settlements, and underserved communities where these young people are, so they too could experience belonging, learn life skills, and build a better future.
Ticket to Life is our way of turning compassion into action, using Scouting as a tool for healing, empowerment, and transformation.
This year, the Ticket to Life project reached new heights! From Burundi, Mozambique, Uganda, to Burkina Faso, we supported vulnerable young people; orphans, displaced youth, and those living in extreme poverty, to find hope and purpose through Scouting. 💚
With the support of local Scout centres and community partners, we’ve delivered life skills and leadership training to over 1000 young people, bringing them a sense of belonging to those who need it most
Scouting truly changes lives. Even with limited resources, the values and structure of the Scout programme can help young people regain hope, develop life skills, and begin to shape their own future.
