Surya Namaskar in "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav"
Body and mind are not two separate things rather they are complementary to each other. If biologically one is ok, then automatically his mental health, & spiritual growth comes to a sound condition. Believing this concept, the Indians always try to focus on good health. . "Surya Namaskar" is an ideal exercise that consists of 12 steps to develop the allround growth of a person. Considering this our Prime-Minister suggested to add this practice with the observation of "Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav".
Honoring the words of our Prime Minister and following the path of our ancestors, the members of Odisha State BS&G started to practise Surya Namaskar regularly. Rovers, Rangers, Scouts, Guides even the Cubs & Bulbuls are doing it everyday keeping all the rules and regulations.
As expected, this practice gives immense positive result.
Implementation of this project makes the doers to keep good physical and mental health. so that should be given priority in our day to day life. In the midst of the concrete jungle, we should try to choose an open & well-ventileted space to get better result. Parks, Gardens even rooftops can be considered for this.
