On 2nd June 2017 the 61 Nachung Scouts, non scouts and staffs of Barshong Primary School planted 80 fruit bearing saplings and others in the school area to commemorate the coronation day of our beloved 4th King, His Majesty Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck. This day is also celebrated as Social Forestry Day where school children plant trees in and around their schools.
