GOOD THINGS SHOULD GROW AND SO DO OUR PROJECT. AND WE DO POSSESS DESIRE TO DO SO. WE HAVE COMPLETED SOME TASKS AND ARE TRYING TO EXPAND IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. WE ARE TRYING TO TAKE ON BIGGER TASKS WITH BIGGER CHALLENGES TO SOLVE. THE TASKS WE HAVE DONE ALREADY WERE NOT HUGE AND SO WE DID NOT NEED OUTSIDE FUNDING. BUT AS WE GROW AND TRY TO SOLVE BIGGER PROBLEMS, WE WILL BE NEEDING MORE RESOURCES. OTHERWISE THE DEVELOPMENT THAT WE ARE DOING WILL BE LIMITED. TO SOLVE THAT , WE WILL BE USING SOME OF OUR OWN LANDS TO GROW TREES FOR FEW YEARS AND SELL THE FRUITS AND EVENTUALLY SELL THE TREES FOR WOOD WHICH WILL PROVIDE US WITH ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO WORK ON OTHER PROJECTS. BASICALLY, WE ARE FUTUREPROOFING OUR PLANS AND THE PROJECTS. We planed a total of 350 trees at the village home of the vice-president of our scout group, MD. ABUL BASHAR. He allowed us to use his lands for 5 years and after that, we will sell the trees and use the money to purchase more plants to plant at other places such as forests and in many more places. Date: 11 to 12 September 2020 Place: Tekkathora, Salna, Sadar, Gazipur. The Secretary of Rani Bilasmoni Open Rover Scout group, MD. AULAD HUSSAIN MARUF, took 50 trees and planted them at his village. He also agreed to donated the income generated from selling the trees once they grow up. Date: 15 September 2020 One of the co-members of team ‘SENTINEL’, Rafayet Rafi and his family, took 130 trees to plant at their lands which they promised to take care of the trees until they grow up. after 6 years, trees will be sold and the sum will be divided equally between the family and our project so that we can use those to develop further.
