Zakat (Arabic: زكاة‎ zakāh [zaˈkaːh], "that which purifies", also Zakat al-mal [zaˈkaːt alˈmaːl] زكاة المال, "zakat on wealth", or Zakah) is a form of alms-giving treated in Islam as a religious obligation or tax, which, by Quranic ranking, is next after prayer (salat) in importance.

Zakat is a way of sustainable developement of people.Muslim peoples who are rich are bound to donate a certain amount of money based on their wealth to poor people.But people donate in a wrong way which isn't sustainable as their amount of donation isn't enough to develope a family in sustainable way.Thus Sebabratee Scout Group in coordination with Sebabratee Foundation collects donation from people and gather a huge amount.Then we donate people by giving them things to make them stable in a sustainable way. As example- in last years we gave people Donation for treatment,made home for homeless families,donated a goat or cow so that they can sell milk to earn money,we donated in a home for orphan children and old age people,we also give knitting machines to housewifes so that they can earn money by knitting. Apart from these there are variable donations we make so that people of Bangladesh can be developed in a sustainable way.We even have a school funded by us for childrens at Khasherchor.

Apart from these we donate Fitras,which is by giving food(from spices to meat and rice) to poor people,So that they can eat and enjoy Eid fully.
