Scouts of the World Award Discovery Workshop

The Discovery Workshop of Scouts of the World Award was organized by the Program Department at the National Headquarters of Bangladesh Scouts from 20th to 22nd July 2020. In that workshop I Rover Md. Rakib Hasan Shipu exchanged views and shared my plan with the leaders of the National Headquarters present at the workshop with the aim of starting a project called Toward Sustainable Sustainability. Mr. Ali Ahad Dipu, Country Co-ordinator of SW Award of Bangladesh Scouts was also present as the Chief Scout Personality. Mr. Ashiquzzamam Bipul, Assistant Director (Program), Bangladesh Scouts, Members of the Taskforce on Scouts of the World Award of Bangladesh Scouts, Mr. Md. Junaid, Mr. Md. Mamun, Md. Hayat Shaheen were also present at the workshop. To start the project I formed a team, called Team SENTINEL. An introductory session or Ice Breaking Ceremony was held at the beginning of the oracle. After the introductory episode, a discussion in detail took place about the SW Award. Members of the Bangladesh Scouts "Scouts of the World Award Task Force" conducted the session. Then I present to them a detailed plan about my project. My team member secretary Nazmus Sakib Tanmoy briefed the esteemed taskforce members on how SDG is related to our project and how we can achieve SDG goals. The Project was introduced in the workshop to examine an individual’s ability to effect change. The activity prompted participants to reflect on their behaviour and challenged them to utilise their personal power to make positive changes in their own ways. Representatives from the National Headquarters listened to the plan and provided necessary advices. At this time, the members of SW Taskforce gave their valuable feedback on how to do SW discovery, how to solve the problem and how we can move the project forward, how to start the voluntary phase after completing the discovery phase. At the end of the workshop, Ashiquzzamam Bipul, Assistant Director (Programme)of Bangladesh Scouts gave an ending speech and announced the conclusion of the workshop.
