Scouts in Action: Plastic-Free Park Campaign
Our motivation for participating in this cleanliness drive was to contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment. Public parks are important community spaces, and keeping them free from plastic waste helps protect nature and create a pleasant environment for everyone. Through this activity, I wanted to inspire others to take responsibility for their surroundings and understand that collective efforts can make a significant difference in building a cleaner and greener future.
A cleanliness drive was conducted by the Scouts inside Nehru Public Park, during which they made the park plastic-free.
This cleanliness drive taught us the importance of maintaining public spaces and reducing plastic waste. We learned that collective efforts can create a cleaner and healthier environment for everyone. The activity also strengthened our sense of responsibility, teamwork, and community service while encouraging us to adopt sustainable habits in our daily lives.
