On 18-20 March 2021, Scouts Association of Malaysia held a Scout of the World Discovery (SWD) Online Course on the Zoom platform. A total of 150 participants have successfully participated in this course.

This course is held to provide exposure to each participant who wants to run the Scout of the World Award (SWA) project as a start to the journey of a sustainable project.

The course is organized by the National Program Team which mostly consists of youths who are active in scouting.

Various online activities were conducted such as introduction to the Better World Framework (BWF), SWA and Patrimonito programs, World Exploration, Project Management, Mock Presentation, Safe From Harm, Reflection, and sharing of experiences from SWA recipients that could serve as inspiration.

It is hoped that all these SWD participants successfully carry out the project and are awarded the Scout of the World Award.
