Scout car

Scouts group Sandzak is non-government organization for children and adolescent. Our organization has been established for seven years and during that time nearly five hundred children have been a part of the scout group. Over the past period, we have executed a large number of activities domestically and internationally. All our activities we can put in four categories:

  1. Visiting and taking part in many scout’s camps
  2. Scout’s competitions
  3. Charity
  4. Ecological activities

While executing the activities our biggest problem appears to be the lack of a motor vehicle. We had to come up with different solutions to this problem but I am afraid not of them were permanent. We were renting the vehicles at highly expensive prices. We appeal to you for help on the problem. We were wondering if there is a possibility of donating the needs to buy one motor vehicle such as Volkswagen Transporter with 8 plus 1 seat or Renault Trafick, Opel Trafick. If you are wondering why this exact vehicles, the reasons are:

We take part in numerous scout’s competitions in our country and in neighbouring countries and each of our teams has four members, the vehicle would give us the possibility to take two teams to competitions, one team of older and one of younger scouts.

Given that this kind of vehicles are usually provided with seats that can be dismantled, the vehicle could be used as a van during group’s ecological activities or when we are gathering funds for charity.

Transporting our gear (tents, sleeping bags, mats, sometimes even food for our scouts), which is very heavy, to the campsite would be much easier with the vehicle.

We hope you consider our request and help us with the problem. This would mean so much to our scout organization, it would reduce the travelling costs for competitions and facilitate the executions of the organization’s other activities.
