Science model exhibition
Every invention begins with imagination.
8th grade students of Bjishong Central School (one of the school of remote Dzongkhag of Bhutan) were given a week to prepare one working model each to exhibit on 2nd November.
Students were divided into 6 groups, and they were given electronic scraps and household wastes to build any working model applying principles of science.
On the day of exhibition, these young minds came up with very innovative and creative ideas which can solve some of the common issues of the society. Some of the models they have made were electronic flood alarm, windmill, mechanical to electrical energy converter, solar powered electric boat, rechargeable table lampset and quiz maze.
