On 3rd and 4th November 2019, a two-day science fair was organized at Jatir Janak Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Government College. Honorable Principal of Jatir Janak Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Government College Mr. Pike Mohinurul Islam Sir presided over the function. Honorable Principal Mr. Pike Mohinurul Islam Sir inaugurated the program on 10th November at 10 am. Invited guests and teachers and students of the school toured each stall. The guests highly appreciated the creativity and innovative craftsmanship of the students. The interest of the students was eye-catching. Projects created by the students were the main attraction of the event. They present a variety of projects to keep the environment green. Modern village projects, special devices designed to reduce electricity costs, green factory project attract everyone's attention. Students of various reputed colleges of Dhaka including Adamjee Cantonment College participated in the fair. The number of stalls in the fair was 20. The closing ceremony started at 12 noon on November 4. Honorable President handed over the award to the winning team. There were also consolation prizes for each team participating in the event. When the prize distribution is over, a pleasant cultural program begins. The students of the school participated in this program. At 2 pm, President Mr. Pike Moinurul Islam announced the end of Sir Science Fair. The invited guests expressed hope that the science fair would play a helpful role in making the students proficient in creative and innovative crafts. The attendance and interest of the students in the science fair was commendable. Under the auspices of the committee formed for the overall supervision of the science fair, 30 Rover Scout members of the college are on full-time duty.
