Nalanda College Scout Troop constructed a new school building for Grade 5 students of Hettikanda College, Ratnapura presided over by me, Movindu Dinusara Wickramaarachchi as the community service project for my President's Scout Award. The event was officiated by the Rathnapura Zonal Director of Education, Mrs. Shanthi Wijesinghe and the Asst. Principal of Nalanda College, Colombo, Mr. Arosha Jayasinghe on 31st of August 2020. Hettikanda is a mountain village situated in Ratnapura, Sabaragamuwa Province, Sri Lanka and has an elevation of 458 metres. Hettikanda is situated nearby to Koselpola.
