Christmas Season is one of our favorite holiday. It is the celebration of love, joy, hope, and peace. A celebration of sacrificing and to show our appreciation to those who mean the most. And these are the greatest gift we can ever give to other people.

In order to feel the spirit of Christmas, San Mateo Municipal Rover Scouts Mission Circle 10 - SANGALAB organized a gift giving program entitled “PLUMA: a school supplies assistance for SPED Learners in San Mateo Rizal” to express love and appreciation. This was a Collaboration Project between Private Individuals headed by Mr. Leo De Belen and SANGALAB Circle 10. Each student received art materials that includes bond paper, writing pad, crayons, water color, pencil, ruler, eraser, sharpener, whiteboard (small), whiteboard marker, and plastic envelope. This project was successfully given to 270 students under blend learning in San Mateo Elementary School and Silangan Elementary School. As they witness the excitement and appreciation in the faces of the students, Rover Scouts felt satisfaction and mostly inspired to continue share the blessings given by God.

Despite of the pandemic, let us all remember that this is the season to express our gratefulness, intimacy, love and faith to one another. And this is the season where people feel the presence of God in each one of us. Let us all share the good things and positivity to give hope. As Mandy Hale said, "There is nothing more beautiful than someone who goes out of their way to make life beautiful for others." And Together, we can make a difference.
