🍛 Plates of Hope, Paths to Change
This initiative aimed to bring joy, hope, and support to the children of Sivasram Orphanage through food distribution, gift sharing, and meaningful interaction. It promoted the values of service, leadership, unity, and social responsibility while reflecting our commitment to humanitarian service and the empowerment of young lives.
The project was successfully executed by the Traffic Group Asansol Rover Crew, Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides, at Sivasram Orphanage, Uttarpara, Kolkata. Food and gifts were distributed to the children, and interactive sessions were conducted to share the values of Scouting. The activity was carried out with dedication, teamwork, and a spirit of service, bringing joy and happiness to the children.
This project enhanced our compassion, empathy, and social responsibility. It helped us develop teamwork, leadership, communication, and organizational skills while carrying out the activity. Interacting with the children highlighted the importance of community service and reinforced the Scout and Guide values of service, unity, humanity, and helping others in need.
