Especially June 2nd was celebrated to commemorate the official crowning of fourth king Jigme Singye Wangchuck. This day was also celebrated as Social Forestry Day where school children plant trees in and around their schools. This year, we the members of Nachung Scouts of Dewathang Primary School has taken an opportunity to celebrate the birth of our Gyalsey on 2nd June by planting more than 250 saplings in an around our school.
