For Peace, " Let's go green and not be mean"

Environment safety and make it green is the urgent need of today. We need to maintain its naturalism more than the pace at which we have destroyed it. Misbalancing the natural cycle of the environment is leading towards the destruction of life from this planet. Therefore, it is very necessary to understand the importance of healthy environment and maintain it forever to continue the life. Two staff from Bhutan Scouts Association conducted a five hour sessions on Environment, Traffic Safety and Basic First Aid Sessions on the invitation of an elementary School to conduct these sessions to the Cub Scouts. 10 Cub Scouts made a pledge to go green and try to save the environment in their own community in their own small ways. Cub Scouts undertook this as a project to grow plants and flowers in their school to exhibit that they are raring to go to make our place safer and green. They also participated in an traffic safety campaign to make roads safe for school going children during school hours. The Cubs also learned about the importance and value of preserving water.
