Orphanage Visit & Basic Education Drive
This project was inspired by the desire to give back to the community and support children in need. We wanted to make a small but meaningful impact by sharing knowledge, spreading awareness about health and hygiene, and creating a joyful environment for the children. Seeing the importance of basic education and emotional support motivated us to visit the orphanage and dedicate our time to their learning and well-being.
We executed our project by visiting the orphanage at Netaji Subhash Welfare Society, Jorapukur, and conducting a one-day service as part of our 10-day schedule. We interacted with the children, provided basic educational support, and discussed health and hygiene. We also organized indoor games and activities to create a joyful environment. The children responded positively, making the experience meaningful and impactful for everyone involved.
Through this project, we learned the importance of empathy, communication, and teamwork while working with children from different backgrounds. We realized that small efforts like teaching basic concepts, discussing health awareness, and playing games can positively impact their confidence and happiness. The experience also improved our planning and leadership skills. Overall, the project showed us that even small actions with genuine care can create meaningful change.
