NSW Branch Moot - Moot of Life

NSW Branch Moot - Moot of Life

Over 100 NSW Rovers gathered over the Long Weekend on the Central Coast to celebrate life. NSW Rovers were joined by Rovers from Queensland, ACT, and South Australia to reflect on life. Friday evening most participants arrived on a very cold evening, where tents were set up, old friends reunited, and many new friends were created around the camp fire. The mood warmed up really quickly. It was great to see everyone reconnecting since the last time they met. On Saturday, Rovers went on a Photo Scavenger Hunt, and had to take photos in locations that related to Birth, School, Work, and Retirement. A little bit (or a lot) of fun was had by everyone. They also got to explore areas like Gosford, Umina and Woy Woy. The Opening Ceremony was held on the beach at Umina about 2pm. It was a little bit windy, so to stay warm some rovers went for a timely swim at the beach. The water was really refreshing, after a day of exploring. Saturday evening the Rovers came back to camp and had a "frat party" to celebrate like they were back in their teens. On Sunday there were some fun onsite activities followed by a Graduation of School. Some service went into cleaning the track on a bushwalking path. It was great to see everyone have a great time and celebrate life. Watch this space to see what happens next year for 2017 NSW Branch Moot.
