National Vitamin "A+" Campaign | 12 December 2023

I chose to volunteer at the National Vitamin A+ Campaign as a Rover Scout because I believe every child deserves a healthy beginning. Providing access to essential vitamins is vital, and my experience as a Rover Scout has taught me the importance of helping others and contributing positively to my community.
As a Rover Scout, I carried out the National Vitamin A+ Campaign by distributing vitamin A capsules to children at various centers in Dhaka and Savar. I fulfilled my duties with care and respect at the Maternal and Child Health Training Institute in Azimpur, Dhaka. Over two days, we provided capsules to over 750 children and shared health information with their parents, ensuring that no child was overlooked.
Participating in the National Vitamin A+ Campaign taught me the importance of organized teamwork, effective communication, and community involvement in public health initiatives. I gained invaluable experience coordinating logistics, engaging with diverse groups, and educating parents about health benefits. This project highlighted the significant impact of volunteer efforts on community health and emphasized the continuing need for public health education and support.
