Music Box
The Music Box is a project designed to enable a music teaching room at a home for underprivileged boys, Casa de Niños Manuel Fernández Juncos, by constructing modular units to store a significant amount of musical instruments plus a desktop computer. The music room is being used by over 80 boys aged 8-18 to learn and practice music through newly-established music courses made viable by the new facilities. This project is conceived as a replicable model, under the name “Music Box,” to be developed at other Island schools and institutions for children. This project was possible with the help of Boy Scout from Troop 304.
