MOP at the 24th Batangas Provincial Jamborette

I was assigned by the Local Council to fully hold a Messengers of Peace module during our Provincial Jamborrette. With the given time, I devised a way to integrate the concepts of Peace within the participants by the activities conducted. 1. Dialogue and Self-Expression By using the story cubes created by scouts from the Batangas Province Science High School. A creative way of telling their own stories was experienced by the scouts. And their fellow didn't hesitate to hear each and everyone's story to establish a bond resulting to dialogue between the scouts. 2. Team Work Networking game shows the importance of each and everyone's participation in a group. It shows how each individual is important not only towards a goal but also in life itself. It also manifests leaders and good followers; tactics and other methods that would help them achieve their goal. 3. The Dream The 1000 paper crane challenge, inspired by the story of Sadako Sasaki. And the additional butterfly origami symbolizing the 80th Charter Anniversary: Growth and Stability. Reflects the actual dream of peace and how every individual is a part of it. It might be a very challenging role to conquer but in the end it will be finished with the help of everyone.
