Organizing mental health training for scouts leaders is a proactive and preventive measure that can have a significant positive impact on individuals and society as a whole by promoting mental well-being and resilience among young people.
Organizing a training workshop that combines the theoretical framework of mental health with practical field applications, especially in the context related to program implementation and scouting activities, to enhance the capabilities of national leaders, especially in light of the consequences left by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be followed by organizing remote practical field workshops for local and regional leaders.
Many young people may not be fully aware of the importance of mental health or how to maintain it. Training can help raise awareness and destigmatize mental health issues.
More the 300 leaders have been benefited from trainings and regional workshops.
Preparation for the Future: Equipping young people with mental health knowledge and skills prepares them for the challenges they may face as they transition into adulthood, including college or work-related stressors.
